PickPrism is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
What a paid link is
When we recommend a product, the button that sends you to Amazon carries a tracking ID that identifies PickPrism. If you buy something during that visit, Amazon pays us a small percentage of the sale. You pay exactly the same price you would have paid otherwise.
These links are labelled. Articles containing them carry a disclosure above the content, and each outbound link is marked as sponsored in the page markup so browsers, search engines, and assistive technology can identify it.
What it does not change
- Which products we pick. Rankings come from the scoring method described in how we research, applied before monetization is considered. Commission rates are not an input to any score.
- What we say about them. Every recommendation lists the trade-offs and who should skip the product. Telling you not to buy something costs us a commission and we do it anyway, because that is the only version of this site worth running.
- Whether an article gets published. Guides go live without any affiliate link at all when we do not have a verified one. We would rather publish useful research unmonetized than pad a page with links.
Things we do not do
- We do not hide, shorten, or redirect affiliate links through PickPrism. The URL you see is the URL you get.
- We do not use our own links for our own purchases, and we do not generate artificial clicks.
- We do not copy Amazon customer reviews or restate Amazon star ratings.
- We do not quote prices we cannot keep current. The button says "Check price on Amazon" because Amazon is the only accurate source for that number.
- We do not accept payment from manufacturers for placement, and no brand sees an article before it is published.
Our relationship with Amazon
Amazon does not own, operate, sponsor, endorse, or review PickPrism. We are an independent publisher that takes part in their affiliate program on the same terms as anyone else. Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.

in the outbound links on this site, which is how the program works.
Other programs
Amazon.com is currently the only affiliate program PickPrism participates in. If that changes, this page is updated before any link from a new program appears on the site.
